Lightbeamers, in conjunction with Positivity Lady Press, is excited to offer you the opportunity to share your inspirational, personal story in our first collaborative book.

What’s included in The Lightbeamers  Author Program?

EXPERT COACHING + MENTORSHIP

April & Lanette (along with other surprise guests) will provide training and guidance to lead you through the entire writing and publishing process, step-by-step from story development to writing mindset, from promotion to positioning, from audience building to leveraging your book to opening the doors that grow your platform, your influence AND cashflow... and all the steps in-between; we’ve got you covered!

A PROFESSIONAL TEAM

Working on the backend to deliver a book that you can be wildly proud of - we’ll have a professional editor, book designer, and cover designer.

You’ll be matched up with an accountability buddy so everyone stays on track and encouraged!

PRINTING + DISTRIBUTION

All of the printing and distribution handled No hassles dealing with the backend tech stuff!  Plus, You'll receive 50 copies of your book once it's published to use for sales, promotion, and/or giveaways. 

MARKETING PLAN + ASSETS

A guide and all the marketing materials to make it easy for you to promote your book, generate book sales, and bring in valuable leads and opportunities! We'll help you build the strategy and spoon-feed you the tools. 

CHARITABLE PARTNERSHIP

Together as an author team, we’ll partner with KIVA to expand our reach and increase our impact by providing micro-loans to help another woman start her business!
 

COPIES OF YOUR BOOK

You’ll receive 50 print copies of your book and have the ability to purchase additional copies at publishing cost. You can then sell them at list price and keep the profits!  (*You will be responsible for shipping expenses.) 
 

AUTHOR'S CELEBRATION

You’ll receive an invitation to a special launch party held in your honor.

Is there a payment plan available?

Yes, we have payment plans available and will be offered upon author selections. 

When do we get started?

We’ll begin the coaching process on August 4, with first draft submissions due by September 15th.

But what about all the logistics? What will I need to do?

This is the beauty of working with Positivity Lady Press -- they take care of all the logistics from editing to design to printing. All you need to do is focus on sharing your story.

I have a story to tell but I’ve never considered myself an author. Could this still be a fit for me?

Absolutely. The coaching and support you’ll receive -- from idea concept to marketing (and all the steps in between) makes this an equally great choice for first time authors to those who are more seasoned writers. Beyond the positive impact you’ll have in the lives of readers, this is a great step that can open many doors -- including speaking opportunities, business/ministry building, as well as paving the way for solo publishing projects.

 

Is coaching and mentorship with April and Lanette provided 1:1 or in a group setting?

April and Lanette will lead group coaching sessions and provide support inside our private author’s group.

Positivity Lady Press is a small, independent publishing imprint dedicated to awakening possibilities in the lives of women through inspirational, self-help, and personal development books. It’s owned and operated by fellow Lightbeamer, and Amazon #1 International Best-Selling Author, Lanette Pottle. (You may remember her from this year’s Storytelling Symposium and TEDx training.)

How long does my story have to be?

Ideally your story will be 2500 - 4000 words but more importantly, we want you to share your story as succinctly as possible while maintaining the heart and soul of the message. The goal is to share your story in a way that connects with your readers in a powerful way. The coaching & mentoring we mentioned earlier will help you accomplish this.
